Tris Sherliker
IP, tech, other interests
Welcome to my website. I’m a lawyer and developer of minor softwae tools, among other things, living in London UK. I mainly use it to write personal notes about topics connected to intellectual property, law, and technology and other things I find interesting (for example knitting).
I also publish and maintain BunTool, a free and open-source tool (without tracking, cookies, or any kind of data harvesting) for people to organise their papers for court and other legal settings. BunTool is a used by unrepresented people who need to go to court, by charities, and also quite widely by solicitors, barristers, mediators and some even judges.
You can also find me on GitHub, LinkedIn, or email me. This is entirely a personal page and unconnected to my work as a partner in Bird & Bird’s IP team, and plainly is not legal advice. If you’re interested in my professional work or looking for legal advice you won’t find it here — please go to Bird & Bird.
